Before you decide on a backup or recovery program, you need to know a few things:
- What do I need the program to do? Different
programs work with different file types and mediums. You need
to be sure that the software you look at supports the files
you may need to recover from the types of mediums you use and
allow you to make back up copies using the medium you prefer.
- What are the stats of my current system? Before
you pick a program, you need to know if it will work on your
current computer. Deciding factors include your operating system,
processor speed/type, and hard drive space available.
