Summary: Pluses and Minuses; Big EZ Bookkeeping Spreadsheet
Comment: It does what it says it will do. I had to review Excel rudiments to feel comfortable using the product. Two complaints; 1) my fault--I should have purchased the version that handles payroll because I need the functions which include tax and deductions calculations. 2) the first sheet--"Settings," continually displays a message, "Macros Must Be Enabled," among other things, that I can NOT eliminate. The macros are enabled and I DO NOT want to see this message every time I start the program,
Overall, it's a "B-."

Comment: I highly recommend Big E-Z Monthly Bookkeeping for anyone with a small business.
I needed bookkeeping software for my sole proprietorship (I'm a novelist), but was overwhelmed by the complexity and price of Quick Books. Then I discovered Big E-Z Monthly Bookkeeping. I'm thrilled with how easy Big E-Z is to use, how thoroughly it meets my needs, and how inexpensive it was to purchase.
An important extra bonus: Big E-Z customer service is phenomenal! When I had an urgent question about using the software (urgent because I'm so bad at bookkeeping and Excel), Michelle Carley e-mailed me back quickly with assistance. We shared several e-mails over the course of the day and even into the evening hours to fully answer my questions. This is the first company I've ever worked with that provides this level of help as a free service. For someone like me, who isn't at all comfortable or familiar with bookkeeping but has to do it anyway, this Big E-Z customer service is a godsend.
I've recommended Big E-Z Bookkeeping software to friends and told my CPA about it as well. Just wanted to share the good word with Amazon customers who are considering this purchase, too.
