Comment: Norton has been protecting my computers for many years - since the days of DOS. This is definitely the best upgrade so far! The program is faster during boot, is easier to use, has a better menu, and uses less resources than previous versions.

Comment: I'm very pleased with this product. It does not bog down my system as have previous Norton System Works products. I did have a problem with LIVE UPDATE. Turns out that Windows One Care was blocking it. Nortons tech people fixed it. My only complaint...the wait to reach a technician was LONG.

Comment: I purchased this and installed it on my P.c and ran it. Two days later it stopped a very nasty virus. It is a great product. It has blocked and destroyed numerous spyware in the ensuing weeks. I will definately buy it again next year.

Comment: I have it loaded on both Windows XP and Vista. It runs fine on both. It updates very quickly and can do scanning in the background as you work on other things. Overall I think this is a very good product. I have used the product for about three weeks now and have encountered no problems.

Comment: This is the 3rd time in 5 years of trying out Norton Internet Security for me. Every year prior just wanted to make me scream. I always had a software bug during the installation process, even though my computer is new. After several hours of trying to get 2007 to install, it finally did, but with frequent problems during the usage of it.
But I broke down, after swearing never to use Norton again, and purchased the 2009 version. Wow, what a change to the better! This software has a process during the initial installation download that removes any prior Norton software links in the registry and cleans it up, for the download of the 2009 version. I had to do a manual shutdown, due to this process sticking during the scanning process for an excess of 25 minutes. But when it rebooted, it promptly completed the process and advised that all prior Norton remnants were removed.
As of 1 week of usage, I have no bootup problems, no excessive CPU usage at any time and the internet usage works great (I changed to the advanced firewall settings).
I have been using the Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 Suite, but after using Norton here, Kaspersky does use a higher amount of CPU usage and the web surfing is slower.
Norton, if it stays like this version, will have a return customer back!
