Summary: An excellent way to learn or review
Comment: I was wary at first of buying this because of only one sketchy amazon review.
Aside from the cheesy country music that plays during the lessons every now and then, this is an excellent program that makes complex topics in united states history very simple. I wish they had this for every school subject. The quizzes with 100 multiple choice questions per disc (6 discs in all) are great review, and the questions are very SAT II-like.
One warning though, you won't find every single topic in u.s. history. This software only culls the most prevalent topics in high school courses.
The old-ness of this program and its interface make this and its ancillaries (dictionary+encyclopedia) very easy to use. All you have to do is plug and play.
