Comment: This Wiss scissors function perfectly! This scissors holds its edge much longer than my stainless steel scissors. It cuts paper like a knife thru soft butter. Once I made the initial cut into a sheet of paper, it can cut without chopping action, just push the scissors through. It also cut carpets and fabrics with ease compare to my common Stainless steel scissors. Scissor's tension can be adjusted by turning its screw. The reason I didn't give it 5-stars is due to the finish and the lack of a cushion grip. If they make this same one in 8-inch format, I will buy another just for everyday use. Mines is 10 ¼". Unlike most scissors, this one will last a lifetime, but you have to keep the rust off, because it is made from High carbon steel, not stainless. I just wipe mines with household oil very lightly before I store it away. Be sure to wipe off excessive oil.
