Summary: 5 stars
Comment: 5 stars. My son loves his DS. There is a new model of the DS coming out next year. That is the only problem with buying one now, is that kids will want the new model next year.

Summary: Nintendo DS lite
Comment: What a wonderful Christmas present for all ages. There are so many games to choose from and it is small enough to carry in pocket and purse. The battery life is quite long if you follow directions on how to help save. So give someone a gift they will enjoy for a long time. Find out who else you know has one and you can trade off games.

Summary: Great Portable Game System - Highly Recommended!
Comment: The "Nintendo DS" game system is a fantastic portable gaming platform. We have one for each member of our family (son 12, daughter 16, wife 47, me 44). Due to the wide selection of games for the system, there are always a few that are of interest to each of use. One of the best features is the ability to connect to each other's games and play multiplayer games (we really like The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe and Animal Crossing: Wild World). The battery life is fantastic and the units are fairly durable (two of ours are now glued "open", but still work fine).
Highly recommended!
