Summary: fantastic machine fantastic game fantastic workout for gamers or lazy folk
Comment: I just got my Wii Fit 2 days ago and already noticed a diffrence. I woke up sore from just 30 minutes of jogging and doing some of the balancing games. Acording to the wii fit board im a total lardo but It made me sweat and gave me(someone who hasnt worked out in years) an awesome workout, so ill forgive the wii fit for insulting my feelings. Highly recomend this to any novice or person who wants to get back in shape. This is basically a trainer to get you moving into a healthier direction. Fantastic!!!!

Summary: A great, inexpensive way to stay in shape!
Comment: This is an excellant product for toning muscles, working on balance issues, and loosing weight! I previously had been using an elliptical machine and Total Gym. The elliptical machine was good for cardio but it did not tone my muscles. The Total Gym is a great exercise machine as well, but that does not cover every part either. Not only that it cost more and takes up space! The Wii Fit tones about every muscle. You have to do all the routines and at the maximum you've unlocked or it will not be beneficial. You have to apply yourself!!!! It's not something you just stand on and move around a little and expect it to give you this great looking body. As silly as you may think some of it looks, if you actually do it and try to do it right, it's beneficial. The other thing is you have to continue to do the exercises in order to unlock more routines or earn a more challenging version. It does give you certain routines to do together to target an area. I like that it calculates your work out time and keeps a chart of your progress. I have noticed a big difference in my body. The menus and tips do get to be annoying but I've become accustom to hitting the A button I don't even listen to it any more. I can also travel through the menus pretty quick to get to the routines I want. I leave the remote on a table within arms reach so I don't have to hold it all the time. The only down side is like some people remarked and it would be nice to be able to have a preset routine and it would automatically go through it. Nothing is ever prefect so I would never drop a star for that. It's a great exercise machine and shouldn't be confused with being a "toy". I would say this is MAY NOT be enjoyable for kids unless they need to exercise or have other balance issues. The only extras needed is a yoga mat. I would buy another in a heart beat!!!!

Summary: Great workout, lots of fun
Comment: I purchased my Wii Fit a week ago. I read several reviews prior to the purchase. So far I could not be happier with the Wii Fit. I have been able to get some great workouts from what I have tried to far. The balance games and Hula Hoop are my favorites thus far.
I had read that people wished they could program a workout and be able to repeat it. I agree it would be nice to have the ability to create personilized workouts that are not interuppted, but for now I need a few seconds to catch my breath.
I am finding that my husband is getting into the Fit as well. We are actually becoming quite competitive about the balance games and where we place. It gives us more of an incentive to workout and try and beat each other.
