Comment: First off, I didn't buy these from this vendor but have used this product and brand in the past. I just wanted to help if there are any questions about how these work. You have to use these in pairs. The scenario where you would use these is if you have one network port in your office and want two. You would plug a splitter in the wall jack and and then the other splitter into the patch panel port. If you are just using a cable instead of wall plates and patch panels you will also need to Cat5 couplers. Then run two patch cables from the splitter in the office to two computers. At the other end run two patch cables from the splitter into your switch.
